The Day The Video Store Shrank

Submitted by on July 6, 2011 No Comment

“Save Chinatown,” begged Reggie, but there was no easy answer. The videotapes were shrinking until they popped like soap bubbles. I snatched at The Graduate, Mad Max, Poseidon Adventure. “I’ve got Last House on the Left,” I said. “The Incredible Shrinking Man has shrunk,” shouted Reggie. I made a rush for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. “This is all your fault,” he said. The store too was shrinking around us. The roof was coming down. The walls were closing in. I squeezed my way through a window and managed to save Cockfighter, starring Warren Oates.
